Important dates and deadlines

The following appeal dates apply to children starting school in September 2017.
  • Deadline for lodging secondary appeals: 21 April 2017
  • Secondary appeals are scheduled to be heard between 15 May and 30 June 2017

Admissions Procedures

(excluding transfer from Primary to Secondary).

Since new legislation in September 2010, all secondary school admissions, including both Year 7 admissions and mid-term admissions, are processed through the student’s home local authority. See the documents on the right-hand side of this page.

For Year 7 admissions, RPA follows the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames’ Admissions policy. RPA’s standard intake will be 180. Our selection and oversubscription criteria is the same as for all Richmond schools - please see LBRUT website.

Mid-term admissions need to complete an In-Year Admission Form, obtained from and returned to the student’s home local authority. These will in turn be forwarded to Admissions Officer at Richmond Local Authority who will process the application and send details to RPA Admission Officer, Penny Tabley. Thereafter, parents and student will be invited to RPA to meet with the relevant Year Leader.
