All School Assembly fills Sports Hall

Before the holiday period starts to feel too much like a distant memory we would like to share with you details of our final school day of 2016 and our very first all-school assembly. It featured readings, Christmas music and a Head of Year Pantomime including some very ugly sisters! A special thank you goes to our hugely talented musicians who performed live in front of nearly 800 people: Tom A with his rendition of, “Sweet Home Alabama” and Lily T, Sam C-H and Tali C-H who performed Lily’s own composition, “Something good”. Both performances brought the RPA house down! As well as being fun, the assembly had the serious role of congratulating students who had excelled so far this year and rewarding those who had 100% attendance by year group with the lucky winners walking away with an MP3 player. We’ll be doing this at the end of every term from now on as we celebrate success in our Academy and encourage all of our students to push themselves that little bit harder.
