Every February we host our annual chess competition for local primary school children, which is run by local chess expert T
im Mortimer. This is becoming an increasingly popular event and is one of the many activities we host as part of our transition offer. This year's competition was a huge success and we were so impressed with the standard of play and the level of concentration of all the players.

Thank you very much to all the students from Sheen Mount, East Sheen, Barnes, Orleans, St MaryMag’s, All Saints’ and Lowther primary schools for taking part and congratulations to the winners: first place champions Sheen Mount; second place champions All Saint’s; first place challengers Barnes; and second place challengers East Sheen.

It was also so lovely to see our Year 7s helping out at this event.
