As you may be aware, in January 2011 Richmond Park Academy was awarded significant capital funding towards the refurbishment and remodelling of its site and buildings.

We think it is very important that our parent community is informed and engaged in the development of our design proposals and we therefore would like you to know about two opportunities in the coming weeks when you can come and look at our plans and give us your feedback.

  • A Public Consultation will be held on Tuesday 27th March between 6.00-8.00 p.m. in the Academy’s Park Hall, when representatives will be on hand from the Academy, the Sponsor, AET, and the Contractor, Carillion, to listen to your feedback and answer any questions you may have about the proposals.
  • The proposals will be on display at the Target Setting Day on 20th April, when a representative from the Sponsor, AET, will be on hand to listen to your feedback and answer any questions you may have about the proposals.

We hope that this will provide the opportunity for you to learn more about the proposals, which comprise new dining provision, a new Hall, remodelled Learning Resource Centre (LRC), enhanced external play areas, improved internal circulation and significant investment in external landscaping, improving external links between buildings.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Academy.
