Richmond School Sport Partnership Cross Country Championship is an annual event that is hosted and organised by Richmond Park Academy. The Championships takes place in Sidmouth Wood in Richmond Park with over 600 athletes competing throughout the day.Primary school races take place in the morning followed by the secondary events in the afternoon where successful athletes can go on to represent Richmond in the Middlesex Championships.

Richmond Park Academy’s School Sports Coordinator, James Giblin, coordinates the whole event with support from RPA staff and 15 of RPA's best sports ambassadors. RPA staff start the races and place judges on the finish line alongside Richmond SSP staff. RPA students are in charge of IT and act as marshals for the course to ensure all athletes can compete safely.

RPA students do not just participate in a support role. They also enter teams and have had significant success in recent years with siblings Finn and Emilia Regan qualifying to represent Richmond in the Middlesex Championships.
