Ex-student to host technology solutions event at RPA on 12 November from 6:00pm

ALL are welcome

Brandon Bourne, who studied at Richmond Park Academy from 2009 – 2014, will be presenting EVOLVe - his new innovative technologies - on Wednesday 12 November from 6:00pm at RPA.

Brandon, who is a young entrepreneur and developed his passion for technology while studying at RPA, is now the CEO of his own company Serenity Co, which specialises in technologies to aid studying.

Brandon comments: "I truly believe that technology is the main drive of life as we know it today, and that there is a huge amount of innovation left in this huge market. Serenity Co, my app development business, started out whilst I was at RPA and has fuelled my being ever since! I believe that software should be safe, easy to use for everyone, and should be free or affordable. These factors have driven me in the creative process to produce great new software products, and the ones that will be unveiled at EVOLVe."

All are welcome to come along and find out more about the types of solutions this young technologist has produced. For those studying GCSEs and A-levels Brandon has a number of study skills solutions apps that are must sees! There will be a number of demonstrations on display and plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

Julian Stone, RPA’s ICT teacher, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Brandon back to RPA and honoured that he has chosen to launch new products at our school. This bright young man did exceptionally well during his time at RPA, including winning a National Enterprise competition with some of his peers for the study and revision app, iC. We are all very proud of what he has gone on to achieve.”

Brandon adds: “RPA gave me so many opportunities and the teachers all went the extra mile to ensure we had the best possible educational experience. One of my highlights was having the chance to go to visit the Google offices in London. It therefore seems very fitting to go back to the place where all this began to showcase the products and services I have since developed.”
