The RPA IT Team welcomed two international groups last week to see how Chromebooks and Google Apps can be used to transform how we deliver education to our students.  On Wednesday 30 education specialists from Scandinavia joined us followed by representatives from a Spanish private school on Friday. They were all keen to see how Kirk Johnson and his talented IT team have integrated Google Apps into the everyday life of the school. RPA were one of only two schools chosen to showcase the IT opportunities that Google offers. As Kirk Johnson says, “IT developments move at pace as we all know. We are known as a school that embraces change and new technology so when something new becomes available we are often asked to look at it. The most recent example was Google Expeditions where they brought virtual reality into the school. That was great to see in action and to see the responses of the students to it. We will always be proactive in looking for those opportunities.”
