On Monday 23 June four Year 11s (Brandon B, Daniel F, Roxy S and Ravi V) and two Year 10s (Maddie SK and Patrycja C) were invited, along with Mr Stone, RPA ICT teacher, to visit the Google offices in Tottenham Court: our prize for winning the AET National Enterprise Award (for the development of our revision app, iC).

This very rare opportunity consisted of a tour of the office and a small talk on private projects that Google have been working on. The offices were amazing, the food was completely free of charge (and very nice too!); they have a vegetable patch on the roof and even have ball pits in the office area itself. The whole building created a very casual, happy, upbeat and exciting working atmosphere that was enjoyed by everyone.

We all learned a lot from visiting there, by talking to workers and experiencing what it was like in one of the world's largest corporation's offices! It took us all by surprise! Many thanks to Vik Verma of AET for facilitating this visit.
