Apprenticeship Roadshow Trip
A fast and fun way to inspire pupils about the future

Over 30 Richmond Park Academy students visited the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington for the Richmond Borough Apprenticeship Roadshow.

Presenting the key features of apprenticeships, was a representative from Smart Training, who talked about salaries, training opportunities and the range of features which make an Apprenticeship a really viable option for young people.

Students mingled in the marketplace which housed stalls from 32 businesses and training providers from Barclays to Capgemini and Otis(TfL) to Starbucks.

Students really found that talking with apprenticeship providers gave them invaluable information, and there was a great buzz around the venue. Students fed back at the end of the event and the majority agreed that the event was excellent and that their understanding about apprenticeships had increased because of the event.
