Students being instructed in dance
RichDance took place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 March 2016 at the Hammond Theatre in Hampton, as part of the new Music and Drama Festival. Twenty RPA dancers from Year 7 to Year 11 performed a piece based on the changes made to Women's Rights over the last 100 years. Our dance was part of a collection called 'In Her Shoes' organised by Combination Dance Company.

RichDance is the borough’s annual platform for new dance. The aim is to make dance accessible to all and to offer performance opportunities to anyone who is excited and inspired by dance. The previous RichDance programmes have included some of the UK’s most prestigious young dance companies and choreographers, including James Wilton, Cathy Waller and Etta Ermini plus support and advice sessions from faculty members of Roehampton University and The Place.
