We had a fantastic group visiting us on Monday when Medical Mavericks took over Park Hall with their travelling hospital. Students from throughout the school were able to take their blood pressure, check their heart rate and temperature and try some keyhole surgery.Students also had a lot of fun trying to find reflex points and their own beating heart with the ultrasound machine. Students left the hall inspired by what they had seen. As Ms Souza said, "There is a whole range of careers in the medical sphere from doctors through to lab technicians. I hope that this event will really encourage all of our students to think about them as opportunities for their future".
