BBC filming at RPA
Eight of RPA’s Year 10 students (Nkem, Rose, Maddie, Patrycja, Iman, Ali, Tippi and Maria) have been working with the BBC to produce a report that will be featured on Newswatch on Friday 28 March

Following our involvement with BBC School Report the producers were so impressed with our students that they wanted to follow up with them and do a feature to capture some of their views and opinions on a number of issues specific to a teenage audience.

News is now available in so many different mediums but does it cater well for a teenage audience? BBC Two's Newswatch, interviewed our teenage students to find out their views on two main questions:
  1. Do they feel that their age group is well served by current news programmes?
  2. How do they feel teenagers are portrayed in the news?
Filming took place in school on Thursday 13 March and will be edited into a 3-4 minute report, which will be followed by a live studio discussion that will involve two of the students who are featured in the report.

To find out what our students said you can watch the full report on Newswatch on the BBC News Channel on Friday 28 March at 8.45pm, which will then be repeated on BBC Breakfast on Saturday 29 March.
