RPA students to have work shown at the Olympic Cinema

posted 17 Apr 2015, 02:09 by Phil Broughton
RPA students Sophie, Tippi and Xian will have their work published in a charity anthology that explores disability. The story, about dyspraxia and ducks, will then be made into a high octane movie!

The gala première will be on July 5 at the Olympic Cinema in Barnes. It begins with a champagne reception where our winners and guests will meet the celebrity judges. Then we will have the awards ceremony where winners will be presented with their awards and where the films of the winning stories will be shown.

Because space at the cinema is limited we will also be showing the films in the Music Room after the Reception. As things are, Jack Whitehall will be presenting awards along with Sir Tim Rice and Zac Goldsmith.

Our students collaborated on this piece in our weekly writer's group and found it enjoyable and interesting to explore these topics. Thank you to Screen Your Story for this great opportunity. Click on the link or the image to learn more about Screen Your Story.
