'On Friday 15 June, 30 Year 7 students went to the British Library to take part in their 'Writing Britain' workshop. Students took part in activities within the exhibition that gave them the opportunity to explore the different aspects of how writing has been inspired by the main facets of British culture, industry and landscapes.
They also had a chance to look round the 'Treasures of the British Library' and were most taken by the Magna Carta about which they were able to recall a great deal of information! All students were a credit to the school and were described by the staff there as being 'the most positive and creative'!
