Year 7s have already benefited from the quality of our teachers and we would like to show you the data about their progress this year.  These figures show national averages for progress against our academy’s: as you can see, we are considerably in advance of expectations.  Students are expected to make 3 Levels of Progress between Year 7 and the end of Year 11 (for example, going from a Level 5 in Year 7 to a B or A in Year 11 represents three levels of progress).  The figures below refer to students whose progress indicates that over 90% are on track to reach their GCSE targets, markedly higher than national averages.  More pleasing, though, is the number on target to make 4 Levels of Progress.  For example, this could mean that, for a student arriving with a Level 5, s/he is on track to gain an A*.
