Ms Pritchard and students at Ealing Christmas FairThis summer, Year 10 students designed soaps and bath bombs as part of an enterprise activity during Focus Week.  Better still, the now Year 11 students saw the fruits of their labour last Saturday, when they had the chance to sell the very products which they had designed just a few months earlier.

The winning team worked together to sell the soaps and bath bombs at a christmas fair in Ealing.  The team paid for the hire of a stall and decorated the stall to get the Christmas shoppers in the mood for Christmas.

The team arrived equipped with information about the products – which were made for us by Cocomango, a professional company based in Daventry.  Soaps were sold for £2.99 and bath bombs for £3.50 with deals for those buying more than one item.

The students interacted brilliantly with customers as they explained about the products, their ingredients and who they were designed for.  The other stallholders at the fair told Ms Amos (business studies teacher) that the students were “wonderful” and “a credit to our school”.

Well done to Ryan, Adam, Jonathan and Jamie for such hard work on Saturday.

All the proceeds from the sales will go towards the Year 11 prom, and we hope to sell more over the next few weeks at the academy, fairs and events in the Sheen area.
