Aachen trip postponed until December 2016

Dear Parents/Carers,
Due to recent events in France and following this morning's vote by the French parliament to extend the French state of emergency to three months, I have made the decision to postpone the Aachen trip which was due to leave in two weeks' time.

Aachen Christmas Market
While I realise there will be a lot of disappointed students, we are following FCO advice not to travel to France (our journey would take us through France and Belgium), and we will run the same trip again in December 2016 with all students who are currently on the list. By postponing the trip to next year, no further payments will be required. The company will not be refunding us in full and so we can keep the money you have paid and carry it over to next year, or, if this is a concern to you, please contact either me at or the finance office

We will of course be returning any passports and EHIC cards that have been handed in.

Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter.

Kind regards,

Eleanor Carbro
