Canadian visitors to Richmond Park Academy

On 12 March 2014 David Holl, an ex-PE teacher at this school, will be bringing a group of 15 boys, (aged between 14 to 15 years) from his soccer squad based in Ottawa in Canada on a nine-day visit to England. Their time here will be split between working with Bolton Wanderer’s Football Academy and in South West London including a visit to Richmond Park Academy.

We are looking for families who are prepared to host one or two of the boys over the period of five days that they will be spending with us. This will involve:
  • Providing accommodation and meals when required
  • Helping them travel to meeting points (i.e. the school and possibly collecting them – further information will be given when the schedule is finalised)
We will be looking into the possibility of a return trip to Canada in the near future, not necessarily based around football - hopefully providing a more cultural experience for RPA students.

We are sure you will agree that the chance of a real ‘intercontinental’ exchange is a thrilling one and we do hope that we will be able to work with David to accommodate the boys. If you think you may be able to offer a place, please contact Andy Cullum at the academy. We are looking to get everything finalised by the end of January so that we can pass on host details (e.g. email address etc.) to David so that the boys can make contact with you prior to arriving in the United Kingdom.

Telephone: 020 8876 8891

Your support in this would be greatly appreciated.
