Entrepreneurial RPA starts crowdfunding for innovative mental health app

Two year 9 and three year 11 students are creating something really exciting here at RPA. They've developed a unique app idea to tackle the stigma around mental health for young people. Its aim is to empower students to protect themselves against mental health problems, as well as starting difficult conversations if problems occur. They now need your help to take the app to the next stage.

To build the app and roll it out at RPA the team are running a crowdfunding campaign to raise £3000. All the designs and specifications have been completed so the app is ready to be developed, with a talented team of developers ready to work on the project. If every parent donated £5, we could meet our target and build the app. The app is called LifeMosaic.

If you want to be part of this exciting journey please go to our crowdfunding page now. £5 will enable one student to get access to the app; donate £25 and you could be one of the first people to trial it. The deadline is October 3 so, if you can, please donate now!

Once the app is built, the team will work with UCL to professionally deploy and evaluate it so it can have a positive impact on the wellbeing of as many students as possible at RPA and beyond. English teacher and Enrichment Co-ordinator Mr Potapov who is supporting our entrepreneurs said, "It is an exciting time for this entrepreneurial product; we are ambitious about bringing LifeMosaic to a wider audience and look forward to sharing its development with the RPA community."
