This week Year 11 students are being given the opportunity to improve their original ISA grades. This will apply to all students who are studying the double award in science, not for triple science students or the few who have banked their core grade from last year.

It is vital that students have excellent attendance and punctuality over the next seven days of school. The schedule will include three sessions in the exam hall and one class lesson where students will be prepared and informed about the the structure of the exams. We have tried to keep disruption to other lessons to an absolute minimum.

Tuesday 2 February Period 5 (during science) - all students in the hall completing their crib sheet.
Thursday 4 February Period 1 and Period 2 - all students in the hall for a walking-talking- mock and completing paper 1 of their ISA.
Friday 5/2/16 Period 3 (during science lessons) - students complete the practical in science labs and draw their graphs.
Monday 8/2/16 Period 1 and Period 2 - all students in the hall for a walking-talking-mock and completing paper 2 of their ISA

Any students who miss any of the above due to sitting controlled assessments for catering or music will be required to attend a catch up session on Saturday 6 February at 10.30am. We will be informing parents of these students individually.

Yours sincerely
