RPA found themselves on the front foot early, creating problems for the Twickenham back four with some neat interchanges in midfield and the pace of Torri as the lone striker. RPA created four gilt-edged chances, including a one v one situation where Torri dinked past the advancing keeper but somehow managed to hit the post and fail to bundle in the rebound. It was looking like "one of those days" until Levi mishit a cross which left the opposing keeper stranded and sailed into the far corner to make it 1-0 (Levi will not claim that it was a shot, I hope).
RPA then began to pass the ball quickly and picked holes in the defence whilst standing resolute at the back, although Ehtsham made two good saves of note. The second half saw RPA's superior fitness (largely thanks to Mr Costello's fitness unit) start to show and they scored three goals of the absolute highest quality. Chris laid a ball backwards perfectly into Syd's path and he arrowed the ball into the far corner without breaking stride. Levi cracked a right footed drive in off the underside of the bar and Chris followed this up with a bullet into the top corner from a full 25 yards. The poor goalie looked forlorn; he didn't have a chance with any of these strikes. Twickenham scored a couple of deserved consolation goals in the closing stages but Ahmed and Chris had the final words in sealing a memorable 7-2 victory!
