RPA came out on top in a close contest that could easily have gone either way. Twickenham started the stronger and scored an easy lay up within a minute of play getting under way. RPA fought back immediately with three scores of their own to get a bit of breathing space. The highlight reel was well and truly in motion in the second quarter with Nathan scoring two outstanding lay ups after lightning quick breakaways. Geordan again made some fantastic plays at both ends of the court, despite Twickenham having a significant height advantage.

The second quarter saw both teams take the lead and fail to build on their advantage, as strong defence from both teams kept the scoring low. Some great ball carrying skills from Rokas and Reece created some fantastic scoring opportunities but RPA failed to build a winning lead in the second half, keeping Twickenham within three points until the last two minutes. Jordan and Nathan showed great intensity on defence, making numerous interceptions and forcing Twickenham Academy into mistakes. With 90 seconds left, Twickenham found some space in the key to land a two-pointer, it was now a one-point ball game.

RPA could have made the game slightly more comfortable but spurned a scoring opportunity when they needed to show a bit more patience. Twickenham rushed down the court looking for the winning score with under a minute to play. RPA again came up strong on defence, Jordan intercepting the ball just outside of the key and RPA secured victory.
