RPA 6 Hampton Academy 0

Report by Dylan and Rio

The day of the match was here and the players were itching to play. Hampton Academy were a bit late so they gave captains Dylan and Unai time to motivate the team. The game began, it was 0-0 after five minutes but with a strike by Dylan 30-35 yards out which hit the cross bar. Soon after, Unai made a fantastic assist which enabled Kyle to score our first goal. Hampton Academy had a chance on goal but Kaines quick actions- down the attacker – resulted in the player hitting the post. After about 20 minutes Unai scored to make it 2-0.

After the first half Mr Roberts and Mr chevous gave the squad a team talk which really fired up the players as the results will show. In about 7 minutes Unai scored his second goal to make it 3-0 which was a very comfortable lead for Richmond Park Academy. Unai soon scored another 2 making it 5-0. There were ten minutes left and Jordan played a fantastic ball through to Dylan who sent the keeper flying the other direction with his wonderful chip that went flying into the back of the net.

Final score was 6-0 well-done!
