This match was a terrific, hard fought battle between RPA and their strongest opponent to date, Grey Court. The first quarter was a tight affair with Geordan again dominating the paint at the defensive end, but RPA squandered a series of easy buckets around the rim and missed a series of free throws which allowed the hosts to build an eight point lead at quarter time. The RPA offence continued to stall in the second quarter with some sloppy turnovers and a lack of ball movement and, despite crashing the boards, there seemed to be a lid on the hoop! Grey Court's big and strong forwards dominated this exchange and the game looked like being a blow-out midway through the third.

To their credit RPA came out fired up after the time-out and ate into the lead through some strong drives from Rokas and a triple from Nathan, cutting the lead to ten with three minutes left. Rokas then put his body on the line, taking a charge to give possession back to RPA. On the next possession, Charlie's shot to cut the lead to single digits rimmed out and from the resulting rebound some excellent penetration from Grey Court pushed the lead back out to 12 to seal a deserved win for the hosts.
